Recently, various types of biomedical micro/nano robots have been developed for the use in bioengineering and healthcare applications. Generally, micro/nano robots can approach to complicated and small regions of human body and perform non-invasive or minimally invasive manipulations to targeted areas. In this talk, I will briefly introduce our several researches on biomedical micro/nano robots, such as active locomotive capsule endoscope, intravascular therapeutic microrobot, magnetically steered needle, drug delivery nano robots, bacteria based microrobot, immune cell based microrobot, and stem cell delivery microrobot. We will present the fabrication procedures and the feasibilities of the proposed micro/nano robots. Consequently, I expect that this talk can give us an insight on new concepts of micro/nano robots for biomedical applications.
